We are born compassionate

We are all on planet earth having experiences to add to our collective soul.

We are born into innocence with wonder and compassion... it is our nature. Human babies and well as animal babies thrive on and seek out love, touch, nurturing, guidance and life. Even the reptile mommies that leave the nest before birth have the ability to find the perfect spot to ensure optimal success for the survival of their offspring. Yes, we all are born with an instinctual desire to live and be well.

If you were to put a living baby bunny and a pile of carrots on a plate next to a starving child (or adult) the baby bunny will never be picked up and bitten into. Why? Human beings instinctively have the consciousness to understand that one is food and the other is not. Society, the media, the agricultural industry and humans lust for habit are what create and force the scenario of the eating of animals and animal products. Children would never pick up chunks of flesh and put it in their mouths... eating animals is a learned behaviour.

I believe the majority of human beings have thought about animal cruelty at some point. Most humans feel sickened by stories of torture and abuse to animals. Many brush it aside and choose not to think about it, as it is easier to do so - out of sight, out of mind. I believe that the vast majority of people maintain a huge space in their hearts to recognize at the core level the truth that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any way.

There are basically three main issues that keep people from embracing change:

  1. Habit
  2. Lack of Education
  3. Fear
The opposite of these are:
  1. Expansion
  2. Awareness
  3. Security
Every single day is a new opportunity to grow, to expand, evolve and embrace change. Change for the betterment of your own personal health and well-being, the life and well-being of all animals, and the survival of our beautiful planet.

Love to you~ xoxo
